About

Ralph Choeff earned his architecture degree at Pratt Institute in 1978 and moved to Miami the same year. He opened his practice in 1983, and partners Raphael Levy and Paul Fischman lead the firm with him from its Wynwood office. The firm keeps a second office in Tampa.

Choeff Levy Fischman has spent four decades refining the glass-walled Tropical Modern house on Miami Beach, with much of that work on the Venetian Islands and North Bay Road. The partners design resort-style homes for a client list of executives and professional athletes, and the firm's portfolio includes Miami Beach hotels such as the Mondrian South Beach and the Angler's.

The Wall Street Journal has covered the firm's estates. Fischman designed a 54,000-square-foot oceanfront house in Manalapan, in Palm Beach County. If you want a modern waterfront house in Miami Beach, drive past the firm's work on Star and Venetian Islands and you'll see the look it helped define.
