About
Maite Granda came to interior design at 39 and earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in interior design from Miami International University of Art & Design. She has led her Key Biscayne studio for more than a decade, and she is expanding her practice to Madrid.
Granda designs warm coastal homes and blends Caribbean color with European elegance. She balances looks with function in each room and treats a house as an investment in the family that lives there. Granda splits her time between Key Biscayne and Madrid, and she calls the island her home and her inspiration. You'll see her European ties in the furniture and finishes she picks.
Houzz has profiled her twice, in 2019 and 2021, and gave her a Best of Houzz award in 2023. Architectural Digest lists her in its AD PRO Directory, and Florida Design has featured one of her projects. If you want a relaxed island house on Key Biscayne, Granda works a short drive from your door.
