About
Aida Lora earned a bachelor's degree in architecture at Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra in the Dominican Republic and moved to Miami in 2013. At Florida International University she completed a master's in interior architecture and a certificate in yacht and cruise ship design.
Her studio designs apartment buildings and hotels with an operator's eye for durability, and it takes on commercial interiors. Over more than 12 years, Lora has worked with architecture and design firms on projects for brands such as Hilton and Royal Caribbean, and her studio has designed cruise ship dining concepts.
Lora is a registered interior designer in Florida and a LEED Green Associate. IIDA's South Florida chapter named her its 2026 Designer of the Year, and in 2020 she received the IIDA Bragg Award for Star of the Year.
