Tropical modernism and mid-century furniture from a LUXE Gold List honoree.

About
Carola Pimentel established Assure Interiors in 2000 and has spent 26 years designing homes in South Florida, from Coral Gables to Miami Beach. Her Coral Gables practice takes on residential projects across the United States and the Caribbean. Her team has worked in Coconut Grove and Brickell, and Pimentel uses natural materials and subtle color to give each house a calm base.
Pimentel pairs tropical modernism with mid-century furniture and large-format stone. She draws on the indoor-outdoor living of Brazilian cities such as Rio and São Paulo, and she layers contemporary art and collectible design into her rooms. Her team plans the lighting and finishes as a detailed backdrop for the decoration.
LUXE Interiors + Design named Assure a Gold List honoree, and Resident covered the firm in 2024. Second-generation clients count among her regulars. If you want a modern house with Brazilian warmth, Pimentel has more than two decades of Miami homes for you to study.
