About

Thomas Kirchhoff grew up in Philadelphia and earned his Bachelor of Architecture at the University of Miami. He opened Kirchhoff & Associates Architects in 1994, and his Jupiter studio designs and restores custom houses on Palm Beach island and Jupiter Island.

Kirchhoff works in classical styles, from Georgian to Bermudian, and he holds memberships in the AIA and the Institute of Classical Architecture & Art. His team restored the King Library at the Society of the Four Arts in Palm Beach, and the ICAA's Florida chapter gave that project a 2019 Addison Mizner Award.

Kirchhoff runs an open studio where his architects work with him from the first sketches through construction documents. Carlos Bruderer joined in 2005 after degrees from Duke and Rice. Timo Hoefs, a University of Miami graduate, joined in 2012 and has overseen condo renovations and family estates across Florida. For an island house with Georgian or Bermudian roots, you'll talk to a team that has spent three decades on that kind of commission.
