About
Amanda Lindroth reported for W and Women's Wear Daily in New York and later ran UK public relations for Gucci in the 1990s. After a move to the Bahamas, she founded Lindroth Design in Nassau in 2010. Her firm keeps its home base in Nassau and runs a Palm Beach office for Florida clients.
Lindroth decorates with rattan and chintz for a relaxed island look with classical bones. Vendome has published two of her books: Island Hopping in 2018 and Island Dreaming in October 2024. The first includes The Dunmore hotel on Harbour Island, and the second adds a Fifth Avenue apartment to her island cottages.
LUXE Interiors + Design has covered her Palm Beach boutique, where you can shop her home collection before you hire the design team. She teaches a Create Academy course on designing interiors for entertaining. If you want breezy Bahamian style in a Palm Beach house, Lindroth has built her career on it.
